Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our morning cleaning crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work environment in a thriving business park. The Cleaner will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all facilities are kept clean and tidy.
Working hours
The role is for 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), with a fixed shift to be agreed at the outset within the core hours of 5:00am to 9:00am.
Location
Primarily based at Pera Business Park in Melton Mowbray but very occasional travel may be required to provide cover at a nearby site (Oakham) during colleague holidays. This is not essential and can be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise common areas, including, restrooms, kitchenettes and meeting rooms.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
- Empty rubbish and recycling bins.
- Restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
