Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, then implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent faults and ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times during operations.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., for precise work.
- Experienced with power tools required for electrical installations and repairs.
- Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining safety standards.
