We install bespoke timber sash windows, casements and doors across West London’s period and conservation-area properties. We have work booked in and need reliable two-man teams to take some of it on.
The work
- Removal of existing timber windows and doors
- Installation of new bespoke timber sash windows, casements and door sets
- Fitting new sashes and door leaves into retained frames
- Sash window overhaul and draughtproofing
- Ironmongery fitting, mastic and making good
Typical output is one and a half products per day per team on replacements. Jobs are surveyed and measured before you arrive, and the units are made to size.
Requirements
- Team of two, fitter plus labourer
- Own van and full tool kit
- Public liability insurance and UTR
- CSCS cards
- Experience with timber windows and doors, box sash experience a strong advantage
- Presentable and tidy, as most properties are occupied and high value
