Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Cleaner to join our team in Central Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and public areas, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and presentable.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ensure waste disposal is conducted according to health and safety guidelines.
- Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap where necessary.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail during all cleaning tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, with availability during weekdays.
