About the Role
Kendall Care is recruiting skilled Complex Care Support Workers to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex clinical needs in their own homes.
This role is ideal for carers with experience in epilepsy, dysphagia, PEG feeding and neurological conditions who want to work for a provider that invests in high-quality training, strong clinical governance and genuinely person-centred care.
What You’ll Be Supporting
You will provide specialist care for people living with:
- Learning disabilities
- Autism
- Mental Health
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Dysphagia and aspiration risk
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition
- Complex physical and neurological needs
- Dystonia
You will be fully trained and signed off through Kendall Care’s in-house competency framework before carrying out any clinical tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred complex care
- Support with PEG feeding, nutrition and hydration (once trained)
- Monitor and record seizures, intake, and physical wellbeing
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and emergency protocols
- Support with personal care, mobility and daily living
- Maintain accurate care records and escalate concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- At least 1 year experience in complex care, learning disability or autism support
- Experience with epilepsy, dysphagia or PEG feeding
- Confident, calm and professional approach
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Community or home-care experience
- Experience supporting children or adults with complex needs
