About the Role
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Luxury Retail Security Officer to work within a prestigious luxury retail environment in the UK.
You will play a key role in protecting customers, employees, stock and property while providing a discreet, professional and welcoming security presence. This role is ideal for an experienced SIA-licensed security officer who understands the high standards expected within luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible yet professional security presence.
- Protect customers, staff, high-value merchandise and company property.
- Monitor and respond to suspicious activity, theft and security incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols and security checks.
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems where required.
- Prevent loss while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
- Deal professionally with incidents and challenging situations.
- Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.
- Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations.
- Liaise with management, police and emergency services when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide assistance to customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain a smart, well-presented appearance at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous security experience.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Luxury retail security
- High-end fashion or jewellery retail
- Department stores
- Corporate security
- Hotel security
- Concierge or front-of-house security
- Loss prevention
Pay: £12.71-£13.11 per hour
