Registered Manager – Children's Home
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + Annual Bonus

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic and trauma-informed 1-bed children's home in Shrewsbury, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a service, build a strong team, and create a positive, child-centred environment where young people can achieve outstanding outcomes.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care.
- Ensure strong safeguarding practices and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, including budgets, staffing and service performance.
- Create a positive culture focused on the needs and outcomes of young people.
- Work closely with clinical and regional specialists to support the individual needs of children in the home.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within a children's residential setting.
- A minimum of two years' supervisory experience within children's services.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and supporting young people with EBD.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or be working towards this).
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children's Home Regulations.
- Experience managing safeguarding, budgets and staff teams.
- A full UK driving licence.
This role would be particularly suited to an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first Registered Manager position.
