Our purpose-built facility is equipped with an in-ground hydrotherapy pool, underwater treadmill, K-Laser therapy and stance analyser, enabling us to deliver the very highest standards of treatment.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position. You will work with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments, delivering rehabilitation programmes for a wide range of orthopaedic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will:
- Deliver safe and effective hydrotherapy treatments.
- Assess patients and monitor their rehabilitation progress.
- Liaise with veterinary surgeons and clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care, hygiene and health & safety.
- Assist with the maintenance of hydrotherapy equipment and facilities.
- Build trusted relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer care and communication.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about animal care and welfare and is committed to delivering exceptional standards of care and client service.
You will be:
- Caring, professional and enthusiastic.
- Confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
- Calm under pressure and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Committed to continual professional development.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals.
- Advanced Water Treadmill qualification.
- Current Canine First Aid certificate.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence handling dogs with a wide variety of medical conditions.
