Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Operate welding equipment when necessary for metal roofing components or structural support.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring devices to complete tasks efficiently.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support construction activities.
- Support carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and fabrication tasks as needed on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or general labour work preferred.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with welding or fabrication techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Basic knowledge of masonry, plumbing, carpentry or related trades is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety procedures and teamwork.
- CSCS card is a must have
