Are you looking for a clinical role that offers a wide variety and an exciting clinical challenge with regular weekly secure hours of work?
NHSGGC OOH Service is the largest out-of-hours provider in Scotland. We deliver vital, urgent primary care to patients across the region when daytime practices are closed. Whether you are looking to broaden your clinical experience as part of a portfolio career, or you simply want the autonomy and freedom that dedicated OOH hours provide, we have a schedule to match your lifestyle. We are seeking GPs to provide regular hours either on a part-time or full-time basis. Part-time work can be as little as 6 hours per week. You will benefit from support with education, personal development and appraisal when working in the OOH service.
As a vital part of our highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, you will:

Deliver Urgent Care: Provide rapid diagnosis, treatment, advice, and direct referrals to patients needing urgent medical attention.

Work Autonomously: Exercise your full clinical competence across our dedicated OOH hubs and community-based house visiting services.

Collaborate Daily: Work alongside a supportive, multi-skilled network of healthcare professionals dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes.

What We Are Looking For
To excel in this role, you must bring:

Full GMC Registration: Active on the GP Register with a valid licence to practise.

GP Qualifications: A completed CCT in General Practice or equivalent recognized vocational training.

OOH Expertise: Recent, hands-on experience working in a comparable primary care out-of-hours environment
