Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Follow individualized care plans to deliver tailored support that meets each person's specific needs
- Support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding and excellent care delivery
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior promptly
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or activities when required
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care.
- Must have atleast 6 months experience in the UK with care.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
