We are looking for an Experienced Jewellery Caster who can produce clean, high-quality castings for grillz and jewellery.
This role is ideal for someone who already understands casting, investment, burnout, melting, metal flow and finishing preparation.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled caster who can confidently cast different metals used in grillz and jewellery, including gold, silver, dental silver, platinum, stainless steel and other jewellery alloys.
The role will include preparing waxes or resin prints, investing, burnout, melting, casting, de-vesting, cleaning up and checking castings before they go to the jewellery team for finishing, setting or polishing.
You must understand how to produce strong, clean castings with good detail, low porosity and minimal defects.
Main Responsibilities
Casting grillz, rings, pendants, chains and custom jewellery pieces.
Working with different metals including gold, silver, dental silver, platinum and jewellery alloys.
Preparing waxes, resin prints and trees for casting.
Spruing pieces correctly for good metal flow.
Mixing and pouring investment properly.
Running burnout cycles and preparing flasks.
Melting and casting metal safely and accurately.
Using casting machines and workshop equipment correctly.
De-vesting, cleaning and preparing castings after casting.
Checking castings for porosity, cracks, miscasts, shrinkage and defects.
Making sure grillz castings keep good detail and accurate fit.
Working with the CAD and jewellery team to improve casting results.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised casting area.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
Proven experience as a jewellery caster, dental caster, gold caster or precious metal caster.
Experience casting gold, silver and jewellery alloys.
Experience with grillz or dental-style casting is preferred.
Good understanding of spruing, investing, burnout and metal flow.
Ability to reduce porosity, miscasts and casting defects.
Experience using casting machines, furnaces, burnout ovens and related tools.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to follow production instructions and workshop standards.
Reliable, professional and serious about producing high-quality work.
Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.

Pay & Benefits
Salary: £24,000 – £42,000 per year depending on experience and skill level.
Higher pay is available for exceptional casters who can prove they can produce clean, consistent castings with low defects and strong detail.
