We are currently looking to recruit for a Warehouse Assistant to join a leading engineering business based in Southport. Established for over 45 years, this award-winning business have built an incredible reputation within their field.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a stores/warehouse, along with experience of driving in a commercial van for collections and deliveries.
The goal is to ensure all parts are accepted, issued and stored in good working order, along with cover for our packing department to help with busy times and holiday cover.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent position
On a daily basis as part of the stores team you will be...
- Unloading deliveries
- using SAGE database to input deliveries and allocations/issues for works orders
- Checking and allocating goods into the correct storage areas
- Carrying out stock checks
- Communication with Managers and production team
- Occasional journeys delivering stock (there and back in a day Journeys)
Please note, we require applicants to hold a valid UK driving licence
Pay: £12.21-£15.54 per hour
