Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Night Porter to join our team in Central Station Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. Duties
- Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night, providing a warm and professional service.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure safety.
- Handle administrative tasks such as logging incidents, maintaining security records, and managing incoming calls.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless hotel operations during overnight hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and public spaces during your shift.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks calmly during night shifts.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
