Role overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on manufacturing-finance all-rounder to own credit control and Accounts Receivable while supporting reporting, analysis, systems and continuous improvement across our finance team.
Around half of the role is focused on credit control. The rest offers variety across management accounts, reconciliations, analysis, automation and wider finance support. You’ll have real ownership, visibility across the business and scope to develop.
Key Responsibilities
Credit control and Accounts Receivable
- Own the sales ledger, cash collection and day-to-day Accounts Receivable activity.
- Build positive customer relationships and handle overdue debt conversations confidently.
- Resolve account queries, disputed invoices and payment deductions.
- Review aged debt, collection forecasts, credit risks and customer credit limits.
- Keep customer accounts accurate and support cash-flow forecasting.
Reporting and analysis
- Support monthly management accounts, journals and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Produce KPI reporting and analysis that helps explain business performance.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and year-end requirements.
Systems and improvement
- Use Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and ideally Power Query, to improve reporting.
- Identify practical opportunities to simplify, automate and strengthen finance processes.
- Help us get more from EFACS and support Accounts Payable automation.
Wider finance support
- Provide cover across Accounts Payable, supplier reconciliations and payment processing.
- Support credit-card administration, audit preparation and financial controls.

You may be part-qualified and studying, qualified by experience with strong manufacturing-finance knowledge, or fully qualified and looking for a varied, hands-on role. Capability, experience, attitude and potential matter more to us than job titles or ticking every box.
