Please note: Due to the rural location, access to your own transport is essential.
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 2:15pm
- 6.25 hours per week
- Term-time only
Pay: £12.85 per hour (pro rata)

We are currently seeking a reliable and conscientious Lunchtime School Cleaner to join our team at a friendly village school in Wingfield, near Trowbridge.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the dining and eating areas are cleaned and prepared for afternoon use, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearing and cleaning dining areas after lunchtime
- Wiping and sanitising tables and eating surfaces
- Sweeping and mopping floors as required
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Assisting with moving and storing tables and benches twice weekly
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Following health and safety procedures at all times

We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and use their initiative
- Friendly and professional in a school environment
- Able to undertake light manual handling duties, including moving tables and benches
- Committed to maintaining high cleaning standards

Experience
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Requirements
- Driving licence preferred due to the rural location
