Duties
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk through the door
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and providing patient support
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize the flow of daily operations
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes accurately using IT systems
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing correspondence
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient care or healthcare support roles; background in nursing or dental assisting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Basic IT proficiency for managing electronic health records and scheduling software
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly in a busy environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
