Recruitment Consultant – Driving & Logistics – Newcastle under Lyme
Salary: £25,000 basic + uncapped commission (realistic Year 1 OTE £29,000–£35,000+)

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Stoke-on-Trent office, working alongside our existing consultant to grow our temporary and permanent placement business. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle — candidate attraction and management, client relationship management, temp and perm placements, and business development.
You'll be responsible for:
- Sourcing, registering, and managing a live candidate pipeline
- Managing existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities within accounts
- Business development to win new client relationships
- Filling temporary vacancies with same-day responsiveness where required
- Managing permanent placement assignments from brief through to offer
- Maintaining full compliance — right to work checks, records, and regulatory standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a 360 or temp-desk recruitment role — driving, logistics, industrial, or engineering sector experience advantageous but not essential
- A track record of building and managing client relationships
- Comfortable with high-volume temp desk activity and business development in equal measure
- Strong compliance discipline — this is a non-negotiable in our sector
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a small, close-knit team

- £25,000 guaranteed basic salary, reviewed in line with performance
- Uncapped commission scheme — realistic first-year total earnings of £29,000–£35,000+ for consultants building a strong book, with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities on top
