Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and safety standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, plating, and garnishing to meet presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support serving staff by preparing food items efficiently during busy service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline kitchen operations and deliver timely service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
- Prior restaurant experience is highly desirable; familiarity with serving processes is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Enthusiasm for learning new recipes and culinary skills to enhance team performance.

05.45am - 11.00am (Breakfast)
or
4.00pm - 10.00pm (Evening Meals)
Any 5 days out of 7 days
Overtime is always available
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
