Job Description:
The RTR Group is a long-established Building & Property Services company delivering high-quality maintenance and construction services across London, Essex, Kent, and surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth within our Maintenance Division, we are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Trade Engineer to join our expanding team.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Engineer with a positive attitude, strong technical ability, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. The role will involve carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance works, and void property refurbishments across our social housing, residential, and commercial property portfolio.
The successful candidate will be skilled in a variety of maintenance and repair disciplines and capable of delivering work to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of property maintenance and repair works.
- Undertake carpentry, plumbing, tiling, decorating, flooring, and general building repairs as required.
- Install, repair, and replace doors, locks, kitchens, sanitaryware, flooring, and other fixtures and fittings.
- Complete responsive maintenance and day-to-day repairs.
- Undertake planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
- Carry out void property reinstatement and refurbishment works.
- Perform making good works following repairs and installations.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships whilst working in occupied properties.
- Accurately record completed works and materials used.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Multi Trade or Property Maintenance role.
- Strong practical experience in one or more core trades such as carpentry, plumbing, decorating, tiling, plastering, flooring, or general building maintenance.
- Ability to undertake a broad range of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience working within social housing maintenance contracts is highly desirable.
- Experience carrying out responsive repairs, planned works, and void property refurbishments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence required (maximum 6 penalty points).

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
