Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance, supervision and support to empower our carers to achieve excellent outcomes for children in their care
- Attending essential training to promote excellent working practices, and attending meetings with professionals
- Undertaking assessments
- Supporting the development of the service in relation to therapeutic interventions and practice models
- Promoting the development of our foster carers’ skills and aptitudes. Motivating and inspiring our foster carers to make the most of resources available to them
Essential requirements:
- A degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- At least 1 year of experience of working within Fostering
- A high level commitment and flexibility
- Having good interpersonal skills and ability to develop a rapport with other professionals and foster carers
