We are seeking a diligent Toilet/Floor Attendant to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all washrooms and flooring areas are hygienic, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. This role is vital in providing a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Regularly clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and surrounding areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, and ensuring surfaces are free from dirt and spills.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant department promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely after use.
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep the work area organised, tidy, and free from hazards throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is desirable.
