Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook at our vibrant coffee shop. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced food environment, providing exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other hot and cold drinks in accordance with company standards
- Assist with food preparation, including light meal assembly and snack offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including sanitising work surfaces and equipment
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or a café/restaurant environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness is preferred
- Basic cooking skills or culinary experience will be considered an asset
- Familiarity with meal preparation and kitchen routines will support successful performance in this role
