Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a care home in the heart of the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to our senior residents and possess strong leadership skills.
Duties:
- Supervising and leading a team of care staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered
- Providing personal care and support to residents in line with their care plans
- Assisting with the development and implementation of individualised care plans
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Using IT systems to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensuring the well-being, dignity, and independence of all residents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role within a care home setting
- Ability to drive and have access to own transport for work purposes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
