Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced CNC Machinist / Beam Saw & Edgebander Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, beam saws, and edgebanders to produce high-quality components efficiently and accurately. Your mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and proactive approach will contribute to our commitment to excellence in fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities
- Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and SolidWorks models to produce precise parts.
- Operate beam saws for accurate cutting of raw materials according to project specifications while ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Manage edgebanding equipment to apply edge banding seamlessly on various panels, ensuring a clean finish.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs, adjustments, or assembly tasks as needed.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock for production flow.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure parts meet quality standards; perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to fabrication, tooling, and materials handling.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication setting with a strong understanding of programming and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with beam saws and edgebanders in a production environment.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes including milling, welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs for part design and modification.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Warehouse experience including materials handling, inventory management, and safety procedures is preferred.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

Pay: £25,420.00-£45,008.18 per year
