Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. This role involves providing on-site tyre fitting services to customers, ensuring their vehicles are safe and roadworthy. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting. The position offers an opportunity to work independently while delivering high-quality service directly at clients' locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site tyre fitting and replacement for a variety of vehicle types, including cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove and fit tyres efficiently and safely
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tyres and wheels, including balancing and alignment assessments when required
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of old tyres and debris
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify additional maintenance needs or safety issues when applicable
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to tyres, wheels, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience using hand tools such as tyre levers, wrenches, and screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 25kg) regularly throughout the day
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Valid driving licence is preferred for ease of travel between locations
- Physical fitness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working independently while delivering exceptional service directly at customers’ premises.
Pay: £101.68-£245.42 per day
