Job Summary
You will be responsible for the relationship management of our customers by being the main contact for a named list of partners(accounts), managing all customer requirements with internal departments and building bespoke solutions. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, and become an expert in your partners’ business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: account planning, managing an opportunity pipeline, understanding ‘white-space’ within a partner’s portfolio and how we can solutionise their challenges, understand business growth plans to best tailor our complimentary services and identifying opportunities to cross-sell to maximise business. You will require entrepreneurial skills to grow revenue, leading with your own relationships, decision making and cross-selling our solutions to maximise business opportunities for our partners. You will identify market shifts while being fully aware of new products, technologies and competition status. While you will work individually day to day, you will be expected to contribute to the success of the whole sales team; operating with quality being at the forefront of everything you do.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Grow & Retain Existing Accounts:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing Cameo partners.
- Account Plan to identify account growth opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within customer requirements.
- Understand how to identify business opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Qualify customer requirements to the highest standard ensuring all detail is captured.
- Drive annuity business by tracking and forecasting maintenance renewal pipeline for the year.
- Renew existing business with maximum value.
- Conduct frequent remote meetings with your clients to maintain relationships, review pipeline and provide business updates.
- Analyse sales performance and develop plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Collaboration: Working with other teams, such as Quotes, Implementation, and Operations, to provide consistent customer support
- Enhance your negotiating skills with competitor analysis conversations with clients.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline lifecycle in Cameo internally developed CRM ("Paronyx").
- Attention to detail - reporting accuracy in line with expectations detailed in Sales Governance documents
- Direct reporting into the Sales Manager. You will provide accurate reporting on weekly activity, forecasting stats and objectives per quarter in order to be successful..
- Weekly Reporting on KPIs and other data as required.
Key Personal Requirements
- Experienced within a customer-focused sales environment and multi-customer/multi-product account management.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
- Proven ability to implement and drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong commercial acumen /business sense.
- Previous new business development experience.
- A proven track record in closing sales and achieving targets.
- Process and target driven.
- A team player.
- Excellent written skills.
- IT Skills – Google / Microsoft / Outlook / etc.
- Attention to detail.
- A track record of maintaining and exceeding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Experience:
- Customer-facing experience in any role or industry (required)
- Account Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- B2B Sales experience (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
