We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Salon Assistant & Receptionist to join our luxury, sustainable salon.
Our salon is built around exceptional customer service, beautiful hair and creating an outstanding experience for every client. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude and is happy to get involved in every aspect of salon life.
This is a varied role that combines front-of-house reception duties with hands-on salon support. You'll receive full training in all aspects of the role, so while previous salon experience is an advantage, it's not essential.
What you'll be doing:
* Welcoming clients and delivering a warm, professional first impression.
* Managing the reception desk, answering calls, booking appointments and processing payments.
* Preparing clients for their appointments.
* Fully training in professional shampooing and scalp massage techniques.
* Assisting with removing colour after treatments and supporting stylists during services.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the salon, including sweeping, laundry and keeping work areas immaculate.
* Preparing refreshments and ensuring every client enjoys a luxury salon experience.
* Supporting the stylists and wider team with general salon duties throughout the day.
