Turn data into insight. Build a career that makes a difference.
Join the Data team at Abri Group and work towards a Level 6 degree apprenticeship in Geospatial Mapping and Science. Over five years, you’ll develop valuable creative, analytical and technical skills while helping us use location data to improve homes, services and communities.
You’ll spend four days a week learning on the job with our friendly team and one day a week—20% of your time—in training and study.
You'll be able to be based out of either our Eastleigh office (SO50 6AD), Bracknell office (RG12 1RF) or our Yeovil office (BA22 8WN) minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that's at another of our offices, a cafe or at home.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll capture and maintain spatial data, create accurate maps and visualisations, and analyse information to identify trends and opportunities. You’ll also help uphold data standards, support GIS applications and web maps, and work with colleagues across Abri to meet their mapping needs.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have an interest in GIS and spatial data, and good digital skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. You’ll be organised, curious and confident using your initiative, solving problems and challenging positively. A full, clean driving licence is essential for travel to offices, study locations and meetings. You’ll also share our commitment to our values and behaviours.
Why join us?
You’ll be supported to learn, grow and make a real contribution from day one. Bring your curiosity, ideas and enthusiasm—we’ll help you build the skills for a rewarding career in geospatial science.

We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?
We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.
-
We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most
-
We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone
As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
