Duties
- Develop and deliver innovative drama and musical theatre lessons tailored to various age groups.
- Plan and organize performances, rehearsals, and showcases that showcase students’ talents and progress
- Incorporate techniques into lesson plans to enhance student engagement
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance skills and progress, supporting their artistic growth
Qualifications
Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, especially in drama or musical theatre instruction
- Strong communication
- Ability to incorporate creative writing and storytelling into lessons to foster imagination
- Additional skills in proofreading or editing scripts can be beneficial for preparing performance materials
