Bar Attendant / Relief Night Porter
Previous Night Porter experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided, so it's not essential.

About the Role
This is primarily a Bar Attendant position, with the opportunity to provide Relief Night Porter cover when required.
The Night Porter duties are not part of a regular shift pattern. They will mainly be required to cover annual leave, sickness absence and occasional ad hoc shifts as business needs dictate.
Bar Attendant Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
- Prepare and serve drinks to the highest standard.
- Provide detailed information on our menus and beverages, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Check customers' ID to ensure they meet the legal age requirements for purchasing alcohol.
- Rotate stock and maintain displays in line with company and hotel standards.
- Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked.
- Work as part of a team to ensure every guest enjoys an excellent experience.
Relief Night Porter Responsibilities
When providing Night Porter cover, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the hotel remains safe and secure throughout the night.
- Carrying out regular safety and security checks.
- Cleaning designated areas as instructed by management.
- Completing relevant company documentation accurately.
- Supporting the bar operation when required during Night Manager shifts.
- Assisting with any reasonable guest requests to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
