Link3 Recruitment is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children succeed. You will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and personally while working alongside an experienced and supportive teaching team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning
- Work with individuals and small groups to develop pupils' skills
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development
Safeguarding & Compliance
- All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service is required, or willingness to apply prior to starting
