Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Duties
- Operate the coach in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the coach is well-maintained, performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness within the coach, ensuring a tidy environment for all passengers.
- Keep accurate records of daily trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
- Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure timely service delivery.
Skills
- Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for operating the coach.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks on the vehicle.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining safety standards.
