Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time PSV Minibus Driver to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with a focus on safety, communication, and vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the minibus in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport passengers to designated locations within Bristol and surrounding areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and alighting, and addressing any enquiries courteously.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle’s mechanical condition, including tyre pressure, fluid levels, and general maintenance needs.
- Report any vehicle issues promptly to the relevant maintenance team for repairs or servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and passenger details as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols where applicable.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record, preferably with a <PERSON> driver qualification.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks and recognise potential issues.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Experience operating minibuses or similar vehicles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and passenger comfort.
- Ability to work flexible hours on a part-time basis, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
