Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive specializing in student job placement and career development. This role will focus on connecting students with job opportunities both within and outside the UK, as well as providing training and support for their career advancement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students succeed in the job market and the ability to build strong relationships with educational institutions, employers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to connect students with job opportunities, internships, and apprenticeships.
Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, including universities, colleges, and vocational schools, to promote our services and programs.
Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and requirements, and match them with suitable candidates from our student pool.
Coordinate and facilitate career development workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance students' employability skills.
Provide one-on-one career counseling and guidance to students, helping them identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and emerging opportunities for student employment and career advancement.
Develop marketing materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns to raise awareness of our services among students and employers.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and initiatives, gathering feedback from students, employers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of our services and programs.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand our network and visibility.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, career counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, student services, career counseling, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the student job market, employment trends, and career development strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students, educators, employers, and other stakeholders.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with educational institutions, employers, and industry partners.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Strong Teaching experience as an English teacher for students
Proficiency in English communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin written, listening and oral communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students in a higher education or vocational setting.
Knowledge of the UK and China job market and education system.
Experience developing and delivering career development workshops and training programs.
