We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Merchandising Assistant to join our Buying & Merchandising Team. This role will provide key support for the team and take ownership of all merchandising administrative processes in Rowen. You will play a pivotal role in aligning with merchandising standards and driving sales growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining merchandising excellence across our websites and mobile apps.

Duties & responsibilities of the Merchandising Assistant...
- Support weekly trade preparation by gathering data for reports and updating key metrics for the team
- Assist in tracking sales performance, highlighting variances or trends for review by senior team members
- Maintain product and pricing information in systems, ensuring updates are entered accurately and on time
- Monitor stock levels for core and continuity lines, flagging risks on availability to the Senior Merchandiser
- Monitor store stock levels & highlight to store/Senior Merchandiser where in-store stock isn’t optimal.
- Update sales forecasts and stock trackers as directed, ensuring data is accurate and current
- Run routine reports and support ad hoc data analysis to aid decision-making
- Assist with promotional setup, ensuring markdowns and sale changes are implemented correctly in the system
- Liaise with Buying, Warehouse, Store and Ecommerce teams for routine queries, supporting smooth processes and communication
- Assist Senior Merchandiser is preparing presentations and trade reports.
- Maintain organised files, trackers and documents to support team efficiency
- Establish a highly productive relationship with buying & other stakeholders.

- Excel Guru - manipulate data, create complex formulas, and design insightful visualisations. Solve problems with spreadsheets that streamline tasks, analyse information, and present insights effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail - Have a sharp eye for precision. Catch the smallest errors, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks. Thoroughly review work to maintain high standards and deliver impeccable results.
- 18 months+ of Merchandising experience.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work under pressure & cope with tight deadlines
- Enjoy working in a small business with involvement in a range of areas & close-knit team
- Able to collaborate and learn quickly
