Trade Counter Sales Assistant – Brixton
Full Time – 42 Hours Per Week
London Decorators Merchants (LDM) is a well-established independent paint and decorating merchant with branches across London and the surrounding area.
We are looking for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our busy Brixton branch.
This is a hands-on role serving professional decorators, contractors, and retail customers. You will be mixing paint, preparing orders, providing product advice, and building strong relationships with our regular trade customers.
We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is comfortable working as part of a small team.

- Previous trade counter, merchanting, or customer-facing experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive, dependable, and hardworking attitude
- Someone who enjoys being part of a small team
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
42 hours per week, working every other Saturday.
Please note: We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in a paint merchant, builders’ merchant, hardware merchant, trade counter, or similar trade environment.
