Charity Shop - E-Commerce Manager - to be based in Christchurch (Part-time 25 hours per week flexible pro-rated salary £24,796 FTE)
Home-Start Wessex has a fabulous new opportunity for someone to join our team as an E-commerce Assistant. If you know how to spot value in pre-loved goods and enjoy using online marketplaces like e-Bay and vinted this could be the role for you.
With the wide array of treasures that we sell, from clothing to more specialist items, no two days will be the same. The role will be rewarding as all profits will go towards helping local families who need our support.
The role will involve selling pre-loved fashion and donated goods on online auctions and sales sites, supporting the day-to-day running of online sales, researching donated items to ensure they're priced competitively, writing eye-catching item descriptions and photographing stock as well as posting items to customers in a timely manner and maintaining excellent customer feedback from buyers.
You will need to be passionate about recycling, have excellent organisational skills, be a strong communicator and proficient IT user.
