About the Role
Latham’s is entering an exciting phase of expansion. Following recent investment to scale up our operational capacity and meet rising product demand, we are looking for a dedicated QHSE Manager to take full ownership of our Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
As an importer and manufacturer of steel doors, maintaining rigorous compliance and operational excellence is central to what we do. We have built a solid foundation with established ISO systems, but as the business grows, we need an experienced professional on site to manage, audit, and continuously challenge and improve these processes.
Reporting directly to our Head of Compliance, you will work across all departments to drive a proactive safety culture, refine quality standards, and guide our environmental strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Oversee and update all Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and accident/incident reporting.
- Manage occupational health initiatives, including Health Screening and HAVS (Hand-Arm Vibration) monitoring.
- Lead on-site safety engagement, comfortably challenging unsafe practices and coaching staff at .
- Ensure full regulatory compliance across manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Environmental & Sustainability
- Oversee ISO 14001 compliance and drive initiatives to monitor and reduce our carbon footprint.
- Prepare the business for upcoming regulatory shifts, including CBAM reporting requirements from 2027.
- Assess green tech opportunities by carrying out thorough energy usage data analysis and ROI calculations.
Management & Strategy
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards.
- Drive improvements through KPIs and compliance metrics directly to department heads.
- Adopt and implement new software and operational tech to streamline QHSE reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of hands on QHSE experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience supporting or managing QHSE functions through a period of business growth.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or currently working towards completion).
- Strong working knowledge and practical application of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
- Clear, direct communicator who is confident delivering reports to management, leading audits, and addressing poor behaviours constructively.
- Highly comfortable analysing operational data and adapting quickly to internal management software.
