Job Title
Experienced Forklift/Combi Driver.
Location
8 Orgreave Close, Handsworth, Sheffield, S13 9NP.
Job Role
We are looking for an experienced individual, preferably with a timber frame / joinery shop background who has experience in forklift driving. Fork truck and/or combi lift license is essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in driving combi lifts and counter balance fork trucks.
- Have experience in loading / unloading of lorries.
- Transport materials in and out of the factory.
- Have good organisation skills, organising the yard/stock.
- Ensure weekly stock taking of materials are done.
- Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping of the yard.
- Have a responsible attitude to health and safety.
- Have good knowledge of timber sections/sizes.
- Confidently work to deadlines.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and a good team worker.
- Have the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Have a good attendance record.
- Loading of difficult loads i.e. trusses, steels and long timbers.
Working hours & remuneration package
Working hours – Typically 40 hours per week, working shifts:
Flexibility will be required from time to time.
Package
Wage: to be agreed depending on experience, for full time employment.
20 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
Auto enrolment into our Health Shield plan after 6 months service.
