Duties
- Lead the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Manage and support nursery staff through coaching, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality childcare services
- Develop engaging early childhood education programs that promote children’s development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns promptly
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of staff members to ensure optimal staffing levels at all times
- Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, health & safety incidents, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating for children’s learning and play activities
Skills
- Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting with strong leadership capabilities
- Deep understanding of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and external agencies
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team while fostering a collaborative work environment
- Experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
