Hobbs Valve Ltd is a well-established manufacturer of high-quality industrial valves serving customers across a range of demanding industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Machining valve components in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Programming, editing and operating CNC machines using Fanuc, WinMax and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Creating and modifying programs at the machine or via CADCAM software.
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and route cards.
- Ensuring programs and setting sheets are updated and controlled.
- Manufacturing components to the required quality, dimensional and production standards.
- Carrying out in-process and final inspection of components prior to transfer to stores.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and ensuring machinery is maintained correctly.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and high manufacturing standards.
Essential Requirements
- Proven CNC machining experience.
- Ability to programme and edit CNC programs using Fanuc, WinMax and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safe working practices.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience machining a range of materials including:
- Carbon Steels
- Stainless Steels
- Super Duplex
- Titanium
- Aluminium Bronze
- Experience using SolidCAM or other 3D programming software.
- Previous experience within the valve, oil & gas, or precision engineering sectors.
