We are a family run business, established in 1985. We provide residential dementia care for the elderly.
To provide and assist in wakeful night duty cover in the home for 3 nights.
To administer medication.
Be able to supervise and instruct junior care assistant delegate tasks and act as a leader.
To carry out regular checks around the home at intervals determined by the Manager and with due regards for clients privacy.
Carry out regular checks on the building with special reference to fire protection.
Answer calls bells, emergency bells, assess the situation and deal with clients seeking help.
Assist care users who need help, reassurance or comfort.
Assist care users preparing for bed and waking in the morning.
Read and write reports in case notes.
Take part in staff meetings and training activities as directed.
Carry out reasonable duties as may be required.
Free car parking available.
5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
Nest Pension provided.
Must have a QCF/NVQ Level 2 or above.
The applicant must have good communication skills.
Be caring and have patients.
Have good time management.
