Aqua Park Staff
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Aqua Park Staff to join our vibrant team at our exciting water park near Windsor.
This role offers an engaging working environment where you will help ensure our guests enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable experience on our aqua park. It is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and customer service, with opportunities for personal development in a dynamic outdoor setting.
While previous lifeguarding qualifications are beneficial, they are not essential. We provide specialised in-house training to ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully prepared for your new role.
Duties
- Supervise guests and maintain a safe environment for everyone enjoying the aqua park.
- Enforce site rules to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.
- Deliver safety briefings before each session, ensuring all guests are wearing correctly fitted safety equipment.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, carrying out water rescues and administering first aid when required.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring all safety checks have been carried out and any issues are reported to the management team.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist guests throughout their visit.
- Help keep the site clean, organised, and running smoothly.
Requirements
- A confident and capable swimmer, able to swim 400 metres continuously, dive underwater confidently, and feel comfortable in open water.
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Able to remain calm and adapt to changing situations throughout the day.
- Reliable, with an understanding of the demands of a seasonal business, including weekends and public holidays.
- Be generally fit due to the nature of the job role
Desirable Qualifications
- RLSS Open Water Safety (OWS) qualification.
- Previous experience in lifeguarding and/or customer service.
- A recognised first aid qualification, such as Emergency First Aid at Work.
Training and Development
We provide comprehensive in-house water rescue training and ensure all staff take part in monthly refresher sessions and ongoing skills development throughout the season. There are also opportunities to train across multiple departments, helping you broaden your experience and develop new skills.
