We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a 4on / 4off day shift pattern. The role involves Class 1 driving duties, as well as operating a counterbalance forklift truck (FLT). Full training will be provided for the forklift operation if required.
Your working week will be rotating shifts of 4 days on 4 days off, 05:30 to 17:30. The position will report to the Depot/ Warehouse Manager.
The salary for this position is made up as below;
- Basic £33,067.94
- Bonuses £4,836

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Class 1 driving safely and effectively on-site and between customer locations as required.
- Support in the warehouse where required on a counterbalance forklift.
- Return of any goods from customers to the Wrexham-based warehouse when required.
- Complete relevant paperwork and ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
- Liaising with customers to build effective relationships, meet their requirements and maintain effective communication
- Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
- Perform vehicle checks and report any defects or issues immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A clean driving record (with no more than 6 penalty points on the licence).
