Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter/Security Person to provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and premises. Duties
- Monitor the hotel premises during night hours to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone or in person, providing courteous and efficient assistance.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs outside regular hours, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas, including lobby and corridors.
- Conduct regular security checks and report any irregularities or maintenance issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as logging incidents or maintaining records as required.
- Support other departments as needed, including delivering messages or supplies to guests or staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for guest interactions.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
