Kennedys, a global law firm, is seeking an experienced Calendar Clerk to support our fast-paced, growing firm. This is a full time, hybrid role based out of our New York office.
Key Responsibilities
Manage high volume calendar scheduling for a fast-paced team of attorneys
Review court notices and enter schedules/deadlines into the calendar
Utilize NYCEF, e-Law, and e-Courts to locate and track EBT's, motions, and court/judge rules
Process deposition transcripts
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to court dates, adjournments, and other calendar-related matters
Maintain up to date knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
Provide additional administrative support to paralegals and attorneys as needed
Required Skills and Experience
At least 3 years of experience as a calendar clerk, legal secretary, or in a similar role within a law firm
Proficiency in docketing software (BEC/CoreRelate or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules and procedures
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities
Professional communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
Flexible, dependable, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
The annualized salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000. However, this is contingent upon level of experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
