As a Skilled Production Operative in this Food Factory you are responsible for all aspects of Production Operations - from weighing up ingredients for processing, working on a flow wrapper to palletising finished product. Working to minimum of ‘BRCGS' standard. However, this role will have a particular focus on the early stages of the production process, weighing, mixing and heating ingredients - this requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
- Complete all factory tasks in accurate & efficient way developing a good understanding of the production of Boka's product range
- Minimise waste & maximise outputs whilst maintaining quality standards,
- Comply with company ‘clean as you go’ policy and work within company Health & Safety Standards, proactively reporting issues
- Provide suggestions on ways of improving efficiency and reducing waste
- Complete all production paperwork fully and correctly as required
- Work effectively as part of a team, respecting and helping other members of the production team to create a positive successful working environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working within afood production environment, heating, dispensing and mixing
- Experience or interest in food, recipes and manufacturing beneficial
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy required for reporting
- Good communication skills
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification
- Health and Safety Level 2 qualification
- Team worker with positive outlook able to work under pressure
