Job Title: Dental Practice Cleaner
Main Duties:
- Clean and disinfect dental surgeries, treatment rooms and other areas.
- Clean floors, windows, surfaces, toilets and staff areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
- Follow infection-control and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Clean high-touch areas such as door handles, chairs and work surfaces.
- Replenish cleaning supplies when required.
- Report any damage, hazards or maintenance issues to the practice manager.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the dental practice.
- Follow the dental practice's health and safety policies.
- Respect patient privacy and confidentiality while working on the premises.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not always essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Able to work independently.
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Comfortable working around patients and dental staff.
- Willingness to follow infection-control procedures and training.
