We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef/Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Previous restaurant experience skills are highly valued, and the position provides a platform for professional growth in the culinary industry. However entry level/ Culinary students will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all menu items
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure all food served meets safety standards and quality expectations
Qualifications
- experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and culinary trends
- understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience in food serving and customer interaction is advantageous
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
